Monday Cardio Tennis

(For all levels of players –very beginner-friendly!)

Moderately paced tennis/cardio workout set to music.

8:30-9:30 a.m.

Tuesday Beginner Clinic

Have fun and get some exercise working on the fundamentals of tennis.

6:00-7:00 p.m.

Wednesday Night Ladies Drill and Plays (Intermediate level)

45 minutes of fast paced doubles drills followed by 45 minutes of doubles with the pros.

5:30-7:00 p.m.

Thursday Night 3.5 Ladies Workout (Advanced level)

5:30-7:00 p.m.

"Fun Fridays" Drill and Plays

(All levels) 30 minutes of fun doubles drills followed by 30 minutes of doubles.

9:00-10:00 a.m.

All clinics cost $10 per class and guests are always welcome.

GROUP LESSONS:

Summer session Wednesday, June 5th – Tuesday, July 23rd

Sign-up required. Schedule conflicts can often be accommodated.

Young Beginner/Intermediate Groups:

Tuesdays AND Thursdays

AGES 5-6: 9:45-10:15 a.m.

AGES 7-9: 8:15-8:55 a.m.

AGES 10-12: 10:45-11:30 a.m.

TEEN Beginner/Intermediate

Mondays 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Guests are welcome for this class.

Young Advanced Groups:

(MUST be able to serve, rally, and focus consistently)

Mondays AND Wednesdays

AGES 8-10: 3:00-3:55 p.m.

AGES 11-14: 2:00-2:55 p.m.

Advanced High School: for those entering 9^th grade or older. Guests are welcome for this class.

Tuesdays and Thursdays

3:00-3:55 p.m.

Fee: $70 per child for all classes

Late Summer Drop-In Lessons

July 29 and 31^st, August 5^th and 7^th.

(Mondays and Wednesdays)

AGES 8-10: 3:00-3:55 p.m.

AGES 11-14 : 2:00-2:55 p.m.

Fee: $9/day, advance sign-up preferred, but drop-ins and guests are welcome.

Signing up in advance IS necessary for all special events. All of the events (except the Jr. Club Championship) will have a refreshment fee.

From June 2^nd until August 2^nd , the Tennis Hut will be open (at a minimum) at the following times:

Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wednesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tennis Equipment and Repairs

The Tennis Hut carries a full line of Babolat products (used by Rafael Nadal, many of the other world's top players, and most of the U of I men's team), and offers THE BEST restringing and regripping in town! Same day service is available!

Ball Machine

LFCC acquired a top of the line Playmate "Deuce" professional ball machine last year thanks to a very generous donation from Miriam and Icko Iben. You can check it out at: www.playmatetennismachines.com/deuce.asp

This great practice tool is available for used by members when the Hut is open and programs are not going on. Fees are $8 per hour and $5 for a half-hour. Summer passes are available for $40 for an individual and $75 for a family. Must be over 13 years old to use the machine alone.
